Suggestions
On Oct. 30, 2008, President David Skorton asked the Cornell community to send ideas for greater efficiencies and cost-savings.
The Campus Savings and Efficiencies Committee, consisting of members across campus, was formed to review and categorize these suggestions, forward them to the appropriate unit experts for vetting, and provide recommendations for action to the steering committee.
Seven subcommittees, composed of subject matter experts from the University operating areas, were created from the Committee's membership.
