Happy Administrative Professionals Day to the hundreds of Cornell staff members whose hard work and dedication help our campus thrive. Together you bring efficiency, organization, agility and poise under pressure to our community.
To show our gratitude, we’ll be hosting an ice cream social today from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the Memorial Room at Willard Straight Hall. The Talent Attraction and Recruitment team, along with the Career Development Services team, will be present to discuss opportunities for career advancement and to offer resources and giveaways.
We’ve also launched a special Administrative Professionals Week campaign in the Appreciation Portal. Additionally, I am pleased to announce the launch of a new Admin Insights Workforce Affinity Group and a speaker series.

One block of Campus Road near Gates Hall, from Hoy Rd to Garden Avenue, will be closed to through traffic from April 1 to April 26, 2024. This will be to support utility work related to the Bowers CIS project. Vehicles will be detoured at Hoy Rd and at Garden Ave. The south walkway will close and north pedestrian walkway will remain open throughout the project.
Please use caution and comply with all traffic control instructions when traveling through the work zone.
