Results from "Summary Update: Progress Toward Diversity & Inclusion" indicate that between 1995 and 2005, there was a small decline in the percentage of faculty who are white, and a comparable increase among Asian faculty. The shares of faculty who are Black, Hispanic, or Native American have remained quite small.

Results from "Summary Update: Progress Toward Diversity & Inclusion" indicate that between 1990 and 2005, the representation of women among the faculty increased by 50 percent. Even with this sustained increase, women were still only 25 percent of the Cornell faculty.
These data provide some indication of progress towards our diversity goals. The Cornell Division of Planning and Budget is an excellent source for additional information about students, faculty, and staff.
