Diversity Policies at Cornell
Cornell University has established a number of policies to provide the foundation for an inclusive environment and a diverse student body and workforce.
The university's Equal Education and Employment Opportunity (EEEO) statement provides that no person will be denied admission to any educational program or activity or be denied employment on the basis of legally protected status, as outlined in the EEEO statement. This policy provides a mechanism for bringing forward concerns or complaints of discrimination through the Prohibited Discrimination, Protected Status (Including Sexual) Harrassment and Bias Activity.
The university also has an established policy prohibiting discrimination based on disability status.
