  1. Roundtable presentations focus on bridging differences, making connections
  2. Cornell named a top company for executive women by the National Association for Female Executives (NAFE).
  3. Five-year award from the NSF ADVANCE program to help Cornell achieve its goal of recruiting and retaining more women faculty in the sciences and engineering.
  4. Vice Provost for Equity and Inclusion to assist in recruitment and retention of a diverse faculty. Among the office's many initiatives is the Expanding Social Opportunities Committee, which hosts faculty social networking events.
  5. Independent Consultant's Network (ICON), provides networking for local independent consultants, contractors, freelancers, and specialists many of whom are the spouses/partners of Cornell employees. It is an option that assists in recruitment and retention of a diverse workforce.
  6. The Dual Career Office, within the Recruitment and Employment Center of the Office of Human Resources, offers job search assistance, information, and support to dual career spouses or partners of tenure track faculty to help us recruit and retain a diverse faculty.

  8. Faculty Work-Life Study to examine tenured and tenure-track faculty work life and working climate, with a special emphasis on the experiences of women faculty
