Cornell University hosts many special events throughout the year from department receptions, club gatherings, weddings, concerts to visiting dignitary speeches. Planning an event can be as simple as reserving a room for your meeting or as complicated as planning a multi-day program with dozens of break-out sessions, meals and coffee breaks, providing attendee registration web-sites, arranging travel, entertainment, selling tickets to the public, and the list goes on.
