Kathy Okun is the wife of Cornell University's 11th president, Jeffrey S. Lehman.
Kathy earned her undergraduate degree in History and her doctorate in Education at the University of Michigan. She served for 20 years as a development officer at Michigan, completing her career as associate vice president for development, university-wide.
Kathy has an active record of community service. In Ithaca, she currently serves on several Boards of Directors, including the Tompkins County SPCA, the Johnson Art Museum, Onsite Volunteer Services, and Cornell Hillel. She is also a member of the Women's Health Symposium Advisory Board at Weill Medical College in New York City.
