Michael V. Esposito
MICHAEL V. ESPOSITO (MILR '03 Cornell) is assistant director of the Office of Human Resources Academic Personnel Policy at Cornell University. Mr. Esposito began serving his first two-year term as the employee-elected member of the Board of Trustees in 2002, and has been re-elected for a four-year term through 2008. He recently served on the Presidential Search Committee that elected Cornell's 11th president. He currently serves on the Academic Affairs, Alumni Affairs and Development, Buildings and Properties, and the Trustee-Community Communications Committees. He is a former member of the Land Grant and Statutory College Affairs Committee.
For the past thirteen years Mr. Esposito has been actively involved in campus governance. He has been chair of the Employee Assembly for one term and chair of the University Assembly for two terms. Mr. Esposito founded and continues to work with the Employee Emergency Grant Fund, which distributes $500 and $1,000 grants to employees facing unexpected financial needs. He chairs the Cornell Employee Day Committee and the Cornell Employee Sports Saturday Committee.
Mr. Esposito is the Ithaca Chapter chair of the School of Industrial and Labor Relations ILR Alumni Association and a member of the ILR Alumni Board of Directors.
Mr. Esposito received his MILR degree in organizational behavior in 2003.
