Search for the Director of Cornell Abroad
Alice Pell, Vice Provost for International Relations, has announced the opening of the search for the Director of Cornell Abroad. The Director provides leadership to ensure that Cornell provides high quality academic opportunities to the colleges and their students through the Cornell Abroad Office which oversees advising, recruiting, and health and safety preparation for undergraduate students seeking to study abroad. Duties include operational planning, fiscal management, and managing programs run through Cornell Abroad, particularly consortia-based programs, direct enrollment opportunities, and programs affiliated with third-party providers. In consultation with senior administrators, the Director develops and implements university-wide policies and procedures for international education and ensures continuous assessment of study abroad programs regarding student welfare and academic value.
