Search for Vice President for Budget and Planning
Search update - October 14, 2009
Over the past few months, a strong and diverse pool of prospective candidates has been built through nominations and applications. The search committee has been assessing the credentials of these individuals and has conducted preliminary, confidential interviews with several candidates.
I have determined that we should focus our attention on the top finalist, Elmira Mangum. We have invited her to campus for interviews with select groups. Ms. Mangum is the Senior Associate Provost for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Interviews will take place on Thursday, October 15 and Friday, October 16. Feedback from the select groups will be considered, President Skorton will be consulted, and a final decision will be made.
