Related Information

Applications are due by late October.

From the Capital Semester Website:

The Capital Semester is a 15 Credit, paid internship program in the greatest state legislature in the country; Albany, New York. Capital Semester students are full time interns in one of the most vibrant and student-centered cities in New York State. This opportunity is open to all undergraduates regardless of major, and the real world experienced is unparalleled by any other program at Cornell.

The CS program is run through the PAM program in the College of Human Ecology. It is only offered in the Spring.

Cornell students work for a Member of the Assembly, or with special permission from Professor Rosen, a State Senator. The application process is flexible, affording students the ability to work for a legislator with similar areas of interest.
