Malott Hall is the home to the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management. Also located within the
building is the Joseph Eastwick Library which contains over 150,000 volumes of business related materials.
Malott Hall contains a small dining facility as well.
Malott Hall is named after Deane Waldo Malott, the sixth president of Cornell, who passed away on September 11, 1996. The building was constructed in 1963 by the architects Warner, Burns, Toan, and Lunde at a cost of $1.5 million. The building was a gift of Walter S. Carpenter Jr. '10, Harold L. Bache '16, and the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.
Malott Hall was renovated in 1977 with a $1.1 million addition, 2 large lecture halls, faculty/staff offices, and a floor of library stacks. The addition was constructed by the architects Levatich, Miller, and Hoffman.
