Services provided to the Cornell Community:
1. Coordination of the university's Bias Protocol Program, which is designed to provide a prompt response to bias incidents and crimes and to develop proactive strategies to eliminate bias activities at the university
2. Advice, guidance, and assistance to faculty and staff in all Americans with Disabilities Act and New York Human Rights disability accommodation requests
3. Educational workshops and seminars on discrimination (including protected status harassment), affirmative action, diversity and inclusion, and quality of life (including work/personal life "balance"),
4. Advice and consultation to the Cornell community regarding issues of compliance with equal opportunity laws pertaining to an individual's protected status, such as: age, disability, ex-offender status, marital status, national origin, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, or veteram status
5. Advice and consultation to the Cornell community regarding compliance with affirmative action laws and regulations, including those pertaining to minorities, women, individuals with disabilities and veterans
6. Advice, consultation, and program development on issues related to child care and work/personal life "balance."
