One Bar at a Time
Last year, the Statler Hotel launched a collaboration with Clean the World, a not-for-profit that aims to reduce the spread of preventable diseases around the world by recycling and redistributing soap and bottled amenities that would otherwise be discarded. As of October, 2,518 bars of Statler soap were repurposed and leftover plastic bottles went into 1376 hygiene kits to be distributed at homeless shelters, while diverting a significant amount of waste from landfills.
