Tucked behind Warren Hall on the Ag Quad, the Dean's Garden commemorates the leadership of College of Agriculture and Life Sciences administrators past and present. Among the college's early leaders were Isaac Roberts and Liberty Hyde Bailey. Roberts, the university's much-beloved first professor of agriculture, relied on the region's many farms as living laboratories.

Sheltered by the building to the south and east and a stand of deciduous trees to the north and west, delicate plants such as Vancouver fern and Japanese stewartia thrive here. The garden's herbaceous and woody plant collection also includes a wide variety of hostas and other shade plants.
