The seventh floor of the Johnson Museum of Art houses the university's collection of Asian art. From the windows on all sides of the building, visitors can take in the campus view (McGraw Hall and McGraw Tower rise above the Arts Quad trees in the distance, above), Cayuga Lake and its western shore, and the Fall Creek Gorge.

Cornell's Asian art collection includes burial figurines from the Han Dynasty, a bronze altar piece from the Liu Song Dynasty, and Chinese and Japanese hanging scrolls from the 12th to 18th century, as well as Indian sculptures and Indonesian religious icons.
