David Wildt, senior scientist and head of the Center for Species Survival at the Smithsonian's National Zoological Park, discussed the work of the Conservation and Research Center in protecting species from extinction, Oct. 17, 2008 in Shurman Hall.

Wildt was the keynote speaker at "Wildlife Conservation Research at Cornell -- From A to Z (The Arctic to Zambia)," a one-day symposium hosted by the College of Veterinary Medicine and the Cornell Center for a Sustainable Future.
