Created by Bill Howard '74, this photo montage shows Homecoming 2013 fans mugging with a model of "Touchdown" -- the bronze bear cub statue that will be installed on a new plaza in front of Teagle Hall and dedicated during Homecoming 2015.
The bear cub will be a commemoration of the four real black bear cubs that each served as Cornell's unofficial mascot in 1915, 1916, 1919, and 1939.
A gift from alumni, the statue project and fundraising are being spearheaded by John H. Foote '74, author of Touchdown, the Story of the Cornell Bear and Joseph Thanhauser '71.
