Cornell University Summer College offers acclaimed precollege programs for motivated high school students from around the world. Every summer approximately 1,000 students experience college life, earn credits in Cornell courses taught by top-notch faculty, attend admissions workshops, explore academic majors and careers, and make friends from more than 40 countries.

In this video, Robert F. Young discusses “Creating Green Cities and Sustainable Futures," one of more than 20 programs and 60 Cornell courses offered between June and August. Taught by Young, this three-credit class explores how alternative transportation, renewable energy, and sustainable economics can help build ecologically sound, socially just societies.
