These 34 minutes of videotaped excerpts from "Jack Squier Day"—the celebration on June 9, 2007 held at Cornell University in honor of the retirement of Emeritus Professor Jack Squier, MFA '52—is a companion to the video documentary, Simply Squier, a retrospective about the sculptor and his wife Jane.

Featuring an 80 year old Squier during the final minutes of the program reading his serious remarks about saving the College of Architecture, Art, and Planning in the last half of 2002, beginning with a large dose of levity from former students, and including the comments by the college dean at that time, Mohsen Mostafavi, this video is packed full of comments and memories of the professor from friends including two university trustees, colleagues, and former students.

The footage archives the legacy of good that Squier spread during his almost 50 years of teaching and doing sculpture at Cornell.
