Stewart O'Nan, currently the Distinguished Visiting Writer at Cornell University, read from his new book, "Emily, Alone" on February 17, 2011 as part of the English Department's Spring Reading Series.

Since earning his M.F.A. degree in 1992, O'Nan has proven himself an accomplished novelist, nonfiction writer, and playwright, identifying as a "horror writer. He is the author of a dozen novels, including cult favorite A Prayer for the Dying (1999) and the bestselling Last Night at the Lobster (2007).
