Coaches and students from the Cornell Speech & Debate Society debate Gerald F. Davis' thesis and its implications in The Vanishing American Corporation. Part of the ILR Book Project.
In his book, Davis argues that the decline of the classic American Corporation is a root cause of the income inequality and social instability we face in today’s society. He arrives at these conclusions along with predictions about the future state of careers and jobs through analyses of the history of these large corporations and the economic, social, and technological developments which have led to their decline.
