Dance of Scales, a Redshift production created by choreographer Maren Waldman, Cornell physicist Itai Cohen, Max Evjen, and Megan Halpern, was performed on January 24, 2010 at the Light in Winter Festival in Ithaca, NY.
The piece was inspired by Cohen's research on the movement of particles at different length scales, taking the audience through the ways particles move from Brownian motion (movement of the very, very small) to movement at the human scale.
