Teaching at Cornell for 24-years, Ross Brann studies cultural boundaries and the penetration of cultural and political boundaries in the Medieval Mediterranean, the interaction between Christians, Muslims and Jews, and cultural terms and the social agency of their cultural production.
Brann is a professor of Judeo-Islamic Studies in the Department of Near Eastern Studies at Cornell.
